Escaping Polos £2-20
Here's a great little trick which you can do anywhere. It uses Polo mint sweets with the holes through in the middle. I hope you enjoy the trick. Thread some mints on a looped string with one looped at the bottom over a single string to hold them on. A spectator holds the mints under a cloth (supplied) but you manage to release the mints from the string. Needs a little practice. Enough supplied for a few performances, then buy your own Polos.
Find the Card £2-20
You show a pack of cards and if you wish get them shuffled. The spectator chooses a card and you turn your back while they show the card. It is put back into the pack and you show them the card they chose

Growing Gloves - Multi-colour or Plain White £18-50
This is what happens:
The performer walks on stage dressed in his finery, he says that he must take his gloves off before he performs. He takes off his first glove, so far so good and then attempts to take his second one off. It appears to get longer and longer and longer. Eventually the glove comes off but it is over 100 inches long and in multi colours (or all white).
I have used one of these before, but the only problem is that after 5 minutes of usage it started to rip and break. I found it not practical as a prop because you could not give it a bit of extra wear and tear, like a ‘pro’ performer does without it falling to pieces. I really liked the prop but I wanted something a bit harder wearing so I got ‘my lady that does’ to make some for me and of course they were a lot better. So hence the prop.
Ideal for Clowns or Comedy Performers that want the BEST! Colours vary.

Houdini Hank £6
Take a tumbler and a little hanky. Pour some water into the tumbler and pour it back into the jug. Dry the tumbler with the hanky and put inside. Cover the tumbler with a large cloth and get someone to hold the large cloth around the top of it. The hanky is now trapped in the crystal castle, but being a Houdini Hanky it is able to escape. As quick as you can blink, Houdini has escaped. The assistants hands have not left the glass. This needs a bit of handling but not hard to do. Comes with everything, except the water and the jug.

You say you are going to make a picture of a wizard. You open the big piece of paper and put the small pieces on top and fold the big piece of paper into a small packet with the pieces inside.
You say the magic word open the paper up and it has changed into a coloured picture of your Coloured Wizard. Needs a little handling practice. Everything supplied.
Mastermind Deck £7-50
A pack of cards is fanned face up. They are seen to be all different.
Someone is asked to name any card. This named card is placed in a prominent position to one side.
The backs of the cards are shown to be all blue, but the selected card has a red back.
The only one, which is the card named by the spectator.
Very simple to do and a sure fire trick. Made in Bicycle Stock
Mindreading Crayons £1
You take a box of 4 crayons.
You turn your back and get the Spectator to choose a crayon and show the audience which one they chose and hide the rest and pass the chosen one to you behind your back.
You say you can divine the crayon by touch.
Once done you pass it back and the Spectator puts this Crayon with the rest. You correctly name the colour. Very easy to do!!
Mr. & Mrs. 5 go on Holiday £2-20

The get half way there and realise they have forgotten their Suitcases. But they have no time to get back as they have a plane to catch so they snap their fingers and as if by Magic they arrive back home. Very easy to do!!
Musical Cards Across £32-50
3 Children are asked to help and are told they are going to get a number of cards to jump from a pack into the card box. The number is chosen by a member of the audience.
5 cards are counted out and put into the card box and put to one side but visible at all times. The balance of the cards are also left in full view.
3 musical instruments are given to the children and you show them how to play them (which causes an uproar).
Then the serious business of getting the cards from the stack to the card box with the children using their instruments.
The card box is now opened and guess what the number in the card box has now increased to the amount that was pre-arranged.
This trick is great fun to perform if you let yourself go and get into the spirit of it.

Just Chance Keys £24-50
Three spectators are asked on stage to help and try and win something quite valuable. 4 numbered envelopes are shown at all times in front of everyone. They are then asked to choose 1 of 4 large keys. Several times they are asked if they wish to change their minds.
After they are satisfied with their choice it leaves you with the last one.
They are then asked to change their coloured keys for a coloured numbered key fob to match their key colour.
They check their numbers and change them for the envelopes which match their coloured key fob and have been in full view ALL the time.
This leaves you with the last envelope which also matches the number on your key fob.
One at a time the spectators look at their envelopes, and are left with a consolation prize. You open yours and you have the real cash prize.
PLEASE NOTE. The spectators have first choice of whichever coloured key they want. All the envelopes are in FULL view from start to finish.

My Mums Flowers £40
You tell the children that you have bought your Mum flowers for her birthday. You then show them a beautifully chromed bronzed tube. You ask if they would like them to see them and the children say "Yes" and you say, "No you don't really" and you carry on with this backward and forward for as long as you can get away with it. You eventually lift it up and from it 2 weedy looking flowers fall on the floor. The children take no time to tell you they are not very good. You lift them up and it appears one does not have a red head like the other one and the children don't take very long to tell you. You decide you are going to fix this and you put the flower under your arm and turn around to get your Magic Wand. As you do so the children see in the process of you turning around a beautiful red flower head has grown. They shout and tell you. You take it from under your arm and there is no bloom there. You tell the children they must be fibbing and you put it under your arm again and turn around to get the wand, and again the same has happened. This happens several times and for the last time you eventually see it. You now get the other flower. You tell the children there is nothing wrong with this as you have watered it just before you started and the man in the shop said, When it wilts it needs water. So it's fine. As you turn away the flower wilts. This happens a few times and eventually you catch it wilting and you get very upset. Both of the flowers you have bought are not very good and it is your mum's birthday. You put the 2 flowers inside the top of the tube and ask the children if they would help you try and make a really special bouquet. You get the children to shout 1, 2, and 3 and do a big magic blow and as you pull the tube off to take the place of the 2 weedy flowers is a really GREAT bouquet of flowers.Everyone is happy.

Temporal Transmigration (TATT) £57-50
THE ATOMIC TEMPORAL TRANSMIGRATOR (or TATT for short!!)
THIS IS ONE OF THE FIRST ITEMS WE PUT OUT IN 1982 WHEN WE STARTED OUT AS M.A.C. MAGIC AND WAS TAKEN OFF THE MARKET IN 1995.
An 'off beat' presentation by Maurice Gidney (now deceased)
The apparatus and routines supplied, although complete in themselves, can in fact be extended to form the basis of a variety of effects and presentations limited only by the ability and ingenuity of the individual performer.
EFFECT:
A length of rope is passed, via holes at each end, through a narrow rectangular box. (The ATOMIC TEMPORAL TRANSMIGRATOR). The ends of the rope can be seen hanging from the sides of the box whilst the centre portion is visible through a cut out panel in the front facing the audience. By the side of the cut out panel is a calibrated scale with a movable pointer.
The rope is cut in the centre and the cut ends tied together. The resultant knot is visible through the cut out.
Having indulged in pseudo scientific spiel concerning modern research into time travel the Performer sets the dial to 'Backward' and covers the apparatus with a square of material (ENERGY REFLECTOR). A few seconds later the cloth is whisked away again and WHAM!!! THE KNOT HAS VANISHED!!! Time has been put back to a few minutes before and the rope restored!!! The dial is then re-setting to 'forward' and the process reversed ... the knot re-appears.
By this time, however, the audience will have noticed suspicious moves on the part of the Performer. To disprove them, however, two members of the audience are invited on stage to hold the ends of the rope, thus making the suspected subterfuge impossible. The Performer then achieves the same results once again arousing the audience's suspicions by an apparently different 'fiddle'.
When the situation has been 'played-up' sufficiently, according to the Performer's discretion, the climax is reached when it is finally disclosed that the rope has in fact, been fully restored and can be examined!!!
There are several possible variations of presentation according to the style and ability of the Performer. The effect can be played 'straight' with pseudo-scientific paper if desired, whilst in the hands of the comedy Performer there is ample scope for a feast of fun with a grand laughter and applause-pulling climax. Children will vociferously respond to the two 'sucker' moves, and to them the apparatus can simply be described as a 'TIME MACHINE' or merely a 'MAGIC MENDER'.
THE APPARATUS SUPPLIED consists of: -
A. The 'TRANSMIGRATOR' itself. Examination will show that this is a narrow rectangular box with a small hole at each end. The 'front' and 'back' of the box are identical, both having a scale and movable pointer by the side of a cut out panel.
B. A length of soft Magician's rope.
C. A supply of 12 "gimmicks" which once they run out can be made yourself or buy on here in "New Accessories".
D. A square of material (energy reflector).
This is a really great prop with a lot of possibilities and a LONG routine.

Please note this pump does make a noise whilst blowing the balloons. I have been using the machine for children’s parties, walk about, shopping arcades and dinners for several years and have quite a lot of fun from this and it has not made any difference to the use of it. And the sound does lessen with use.
This balloon pump is equal in quality to balloon pumps sold for twice the price, doing exactly the same job. So why pay twice as much?

The Magic Bands £1-50
You give a band of paper to two spectators and keep one for yourself. You then ask spectator one and two to cut 2 single bands of paper from the pieces of paper given (by cutting them in half through the centre).

After you know the secret this is easy to replace. One is made for you. All you need to supply is some glue and some scissors. Very easy to perform.

This is how it goes. The magician picks up the wand for the child to use and explains how to hold it and what to do. As the magician is doing this the white tip of the wand starts to droop. The children shout and tell the magician that it is happening. By the time the magician looks up it is back in one piece. The magician checks to see that the end is OK by tapping it - its fine. The same thing happens again (and continues to happen for as long as you think you can get away with it). This time the magician notices it and looks quite surprised, he then checks the other end and that seems OK, so he starts the explanation again, guess what, it happens again. This time the magician must give the child a wand with two loose ends and the child must put up with using that.
Well, it might not read so good, but I have been using this "Professionally" for over 50 years and whenever I need a magic wand, THIS IS IT.

Vanishing Hanky & Papers to Hat £33
This is my “Signature” routine which I have done for the last 15 years and do at virtually every kids show I perform at. This is a routine that lasts for 10 to 12 minutes and and contains ALL of the props you require. You get someone from the audience and attempt to vanish a silk hanky which doesn't quite work the first time. With several bits of business you eventually do the deed. Because of your helpers brilliant work you offer to make them a piece of clothing as compensation for their help. You say you are going to make her some clothes. You start to write 6 possible pieces of clothing on pieces of card (Bicycle Blank Face Cards). They choose one (perfectly free choice of card) and you endeavour to make their choice of clothing with disastrous results until you get everyone to help to put it right. This is such a GREAT effect and comes complete with all the props and enough spares to perform 6 times and full routine. Spares available.
